Mark has over 35 years’ experience of regenerating communities across the Northwest. Joining Tawd Valley Developments (TVD) in 2021 as Managing Director, Mark has helped to establish the business as a highly credible and sustainable Local Authority Owned ethical development business guiding successfully delivery, diversification, transformation and growth of the Company. Prior to joining TVD, Mark spent 20 years at Liverpool City Council, latterly as Chief executive of its Housing Company and prior to that Assistant Director for Regeneration which included leadership for the Council on many of the City’s high profile development schemes including Kings Waterfront, Lime Street Gateway, Paddington Village KQ, and Anfield Regeneration. Mark has a passion for delivering physical development for the betterment of people and communities, encompassing social value and community wealth building.
Danielle has almost 20 years in the social housing and regeneration industry in and around the north west of England. She has vast experience of delivery in all residential tenures, providing cradle to grave project and programme management.
The last 5 years has seen Danielle working at Executive level, predominantly at TVD, supporting the Managing Director to strategically lead the business, with team growth from 3 to 6 employees. 5 business plan approvals obtained, spanning a period until 2031, increasing unit numbers to over 400 and expenditure to over £100m, ensuring robust governance and being part of the leadership team driving TVD to success.
Derry is well versed in both financial and commercial aspects of business. AAT Qualified from 2010 and with 18-years’ experience, he has held a variety of senior roles including Senior Accounts Manager, Taxation Manager, Practice Manager and also the MD of his own practice. In addition, he has held senior positions in commercial and property enterprises as Financial Controller and Financial Director - overseeing business growth. Derry has overseen many tax investigations and company sales and is currently bringing forward key projects at TVD whilst pushing the diversification of the offerings at the company. Derry, having been with TVD since 2022 is a member of the TVD Executive Team.
Joanne is an experienced Development Project Manager with a proven track record in the delivery of Social Housing residential developments. With over 20 years post graduate experience in planning, project management, reporting and programme management. Joanne’s experience covers all aspects of development from project inception to handover completion. She has project managed the building of over 1,000 units.
Nik is a Chartered Town Planner with over 30 years’ experience working in a wide range of property sectors and types, across the public and private sector both client side and consultancy. A proven track in building public/private partnerships and relationships with a diverse cohort of partners, stakeholders and multi-disciplinary consultant teams to deliver a wide spectrum of projects from inception through the full development cycle to delivery on site.
Nik joined Tawd Valley Developments in November 2025, with the remit to lead on the delivery of the masterplan for Skelmersdale Town Centre. Prior to joining TVD, Nik spent 8 years with commercial developer, Maple Grove Developments, delivering the mixed-use Pioneer Place development in Burnley Town Centre. Prior to that Nik was with Liverpool City Council leading on the redevelopment of the Festival Gardens site and before then with Salford City Council, leading on the transformation of the Greengate area of Central Salford.
Danny is a Project Development Officer with nine years of experience in the charity sector, specialising in work with hard-to-reach communities and young people. Joining from partner organisation Volunteer It Yourself, he has been working across England, Wales, and Ireland to lead community construction projects with young people, bringing a strong social value focus and an innovative approach to project delivery.
Maria is an architect with 30 years’ experience in architectural practice. The last 20 years have been
spent in senior and management positions, helping to lead business development, work closely with key
clients and provide mentorship and guidance to staff and graduates at all stages of their careers. Maria
joined TVD in January 2026 following a decision to switch her career to a development one, where
transferrable skills and experience will contribute to the range of residential and community focused
projects delivered by TVD for WLBC. As an architect, Maria’s previous project experience covers a broad
spectrum ranging from residential to community projects, urban design, masterplanning and
regeneration, which demonstrates Maria’s passion to contribute to projects which promote wellbeing,
inclusivity, enjoyment, comfort and safety for people and communities.
Frankie is a Development Project Officer offering a strong operational and customer focused background with experience driving results and delivering high quality outcomes. Frankie has a keen interest in regeneration and placemaking, bringing a proactive and committed approach to creating lasting social and economic value for communities.
Jennifer is a Development Project Officer with over 4 years' experience within the construction industry who has a keen interest in providing affordable homes and creating strong communities. Jennifer has a background in delivering both houses and apartment blocks comprising a mixture of open market, shared ownership and affordable rent.
Victoria brings 25 years’ experience of business and administrative support to the company having worked in legal, education and third sector organisations. She has sound knowledge of the local area of West Lancashire and a passion for people and community.
